Improved search and quick log confirmation – new in Smart Contact Reminder v2.11.0

We listened to your feedback and implemented two productivity improvements suggested by you – our customers. The first improves significantly the usefulness of the search feature while the second makes it much easier to confirm or delete a contact log from History screen. Both improvements, along with the usual various small fixes will be available in the new 2.11.0 release. Let’s take a closer look at each of those.

Improved search

Originally, you were only able to search in your contacts by their name. We have extended the search feature so now you can also search within their aliases and most importantly – notes.

This change makes the search a really powerful feature because notes allow you to add any kind of information to your contacts in a simple format: label – note. For example, you can store information about your contact’s address, name of their spouses, children, where they work, what is their favourite food or whatever else you want!

To make sure you know why a particular contact appears in search results, we’re now highlighting the piece of information that matches the search query.

Quick action on contact logs

If you’re using the automatic contact detection feature, you’ve probably faced the situation where you just want to quickly confirm or delete a lot of contact logs that were created automatically.

Until now, you only could delete/confirm all of them or go through each record individually which involved a lot of effort.

Based on your feedback, we’ve made confirming individual contact logs as easy as swiping left on them. Swiping right allows you to quickly delete a contact log.

If you delete a log accidentally, don’t worry, you can still undo the operation within several seconds after. In swiping gestures are not your thing, you can also completely disable them in the app settings.

Do you have more suggestions for improvements? We’re eager to hear them! ❤️
